Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager as she entered her teens. She grew with her 3 siblings within Canyon Country California, and started her acting career when she was four. She was an extra on TV shows including Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her acting career. When she was 13 in 1995, she was cast in her first feature film Friday. She first gained attention for her performance as troubled teen Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations. One of them was her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good played small roles in film and on television for a couple of years before shifting into more mature roles around the dawn of the 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter show, she portrayed Nina. The show ran from 1998-2001. The actress also had small roles in films House Party Down to the last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. The year 2003 saw her played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, an action comedy film that earned the actress nominated as Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. Following this, she appeared in various films like Cookout Venom Waist Deep as well as The Love Guru. While active in 2012, she also appeared on T.V. In films, she was Mya in Think Like a Man with an ensemble of stars as well as playing Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Originating from Texas Killmer was one of the students at Baylor University in Waco Texas and graduated with the B.F.A. In 2010, she received an art degree. Her first appearance on screen in 2010 with the web series If You Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career as a screen actress in 2010, after having appeared in a variety of local plays. She was a part of Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its pilot episode. The series revolved around an ensemble of individuals who started living in Hollywood California.
