Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnnekymes were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. She began her career in the industry at an early age having won local competitions at 10, and recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. When she was 14, she debuted her debut solo album following signing with Rounder Records. The year 1989 saw her asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
